If you ever buy a stuffy from a spooky widow that everyone thinks is a witch, and she tells you to read the directions, be sure to read the directions. If you don't, you might run into the same kind of problems that Stanley encounters in Zombiekins.
See, our boy Stanley purchased an in the box half bear/half bunny stuffy from Widow Imavitch (say that name slowly). As he's leaving Widow Imavitch (say it slowly again) tells him the stuffy is full of surprises and to read the directions. Well, as I've already told you, Stanley didn't read the directions, he actually threw them out, and ended up encountering a lot of surprises. A lot of bad surprises, he kept discovering more and more of his schoolmates were turning into zombies.
Read Zombiekins if your inquiring mind wishes to find out if Stanley survives his scary surprises. And on a side note, remember to read the directions the next time you get a new toy.

The Boy Who Saved Baseball

In the very first page of this book, the storyteller tells us that Cruz de la Cruz saved baseball and the town of Dillontown. After reading the entire book, I disagree. I think Cruz helped saved baseball and Dillontown, but he was just one of many people that worked together to save them.
If you want to see who is right, the storyteller or me, you'll need to read this book. As you read ask yourself if Cruz did all the work or if Cruz helped Tom, Maria, Dante Del Gato, Mrs. Gallagher and others carry the day. I'm curious to hear what you think.
