The Egypt Game

The Egypt Game
by Zilpha Keatley Snyder

When April moves from her mother's home to live with her grandma, she isn't quite sure what to do.  With the help of the "Egypt Game", a game she co-invented, she starts to make some unlikely friends. The "Egypt Game" is played in the fenced in back lot of a antique store owned by the creepy "Professor."

Except for being behind the "Professor's" store, the game seems like total fun.  It starts to get a little scarier when secret messages start to appear and a murder occurs in the neighborhood.  Is the "Egypt Game" all fun and games or is something sinister afoot?
